is an escape into a world filled with hand-picked, vintage inspired women's clothing, accessories and reclaimed fixtures and furniture. Everything in the boutique is available for sale...from the
delicately beaded, bohemian inspired top, to the refinished rack that was salvaged from an old hotel it's displayed on. Prim's romantic and dreamy style will compliment almost any woman's taste with
their cozy cotton hoodies, delicately embroidered shirts, feminine cotton dresses and distressed jeans, Prim has broad appeal. Prim's collection of clothing, belts, jewelry, handbags, shoes, soaps, candles,
perfumes and even lingerie is amazingly affordable and blends today's style with vintage inspired designs and yesterday's prices.
Owner Alicia Shaffer's real passion for anything vintage and timeless, coupled with her husband's talent as an amazing builder became the concept of Prim. As if a full-time job as the assistant fire chief of Alameda County Fire, Alicia's husband is also the creative business head behind Prim. He finds, crafts and recycles all of the store furniture and does the store layout as well, while Alicia hand picks all of the fashion pieces that are featured in the store. Her pieces call attention to detail and are anything but basic, and all are offered at an affordable price, including the sustainable and upcycled fixtures and furniture. The Shaffer's opened their first store in Pleasanton and with their second store now open at the Livery, they are excited to share their unique finds with the Danville community. From the CFL bulbs that light the boutique, to the reusable Prim shopping bags given with every purchase, to the paperless checkout process, Prim is passionate about doing their part in reducing our impact on the environment and they are passionate in offering an affordable, one-of-a-kind shopping experience to their customers.
